so here is my letter to pres this week!
President,
Well, a little sad to be leaving this area, San Vicente
treated me really well, I learned a lot from the people here as i helped many
learn about how to overcome trials and problems in life. I also am grateful for
the opportunity i had to serve as a leader in the mission, as you said on your
phone call, its a constant rotation, and I know elder Wenzal will be a super
Zone Leader. Im excited as well to be training, i love the spirit that the
greenies have when they enter the mission, that was honestly something i was
praying for this last transfer, so i am super excited for these next 6 weeks in
Valiente! thanks for everything, see you tommorrow!
ELDER AUGER
excited to train, and to be in the zone of Las Americas, the
same zone as the LLave, way cool, ill tell you who my son is next week when i
find out tommorrow!
good week overall here, we had the zone leaders meeting with
President Corbitt, i took place in a practice to help show the importance of
using the Lords Strength and not our own, we did an arm wrestle, Elder Tripp
and I from my group, he was Gods Army and I was Satan, really funny, i had to
lose at the end though!
Elder Cuellar and I also had to go do some exchanges due to
some unfortunate events, so we didnt get to work a ton in our area, but we
managed to teach everyone i wanted to one last time, there will be more
goodbyes and maybe a few more tears tonight. excited to be training and
learning more in that aspect, but im gonna miss this area.
the spirit is the Most important thing to have on the
mission, I got to talk with Onelbin sanchez, a mini missionary from the LLave,
and he asked the best advice for a missionary starting, all i could say was
SEEK THE SPIRIT, when we have it, we are doing HIS work directed by HIM, im
glad that personal revelation exists, i know Gods plan for us is perfect, and
im so glad i am where i am, this church is true, i know it, and i cannot deny
it.
Love you all, hope you have a great week!
ELDER AUGER
also our district,
notice that i was the only pure gringo, gotta love that!
we took pics with the
sombreros, gotta love it!
then after the
reunion this thursday we went to eat at a sweet mexican restaurant
then we had to say goodbyes after church...
i saw this on the way
to the internet center...
more goodbyes to the
familia contreras, Alexis and Geisi, gonna miss this family tons, I know that they will be able to be baptized and sealed in the temple one day!
